Come to St Martin's Church and enjoy an afternoon of jazz and swing with many of your favourite songs. The programme will include classic tunes such as 'My Funny Valentine' (Rodgers and Hart), 'What's Going On' (Marvin Gaye), 'Blackbird' (Lennon & McCartney) and 'In the Stone' (Earth, Wind and Fire). After the interval we will play many of your Christmas favourites, such as 'Sleigh Ride', 'I'll Be Home For Christmas', 'Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree', 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas', 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town' and 'I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas'.
St Martin's has an enviable reputation as one of Worcestershire's best concert venues and Malvern Big Band is delighted to be making its first appearance there. This is a particularly family friendly concert; timed in the afternoon and with all content suitable for younger children as well as our regular listeners.
Tickets are available online priced at £10.00 (18 years and under £5.00, 10 and under free) or on the door at £12.00 / £6.00 / free (cash only please, no card/contactless facilities available); refreshments will be available during the interval. Doors open at 2.30pm for a 3.00pm start.
