Nick Swarbrick Trumpet / Flugel Horn

Nick played trumpet as a teenager in Birmingham Schools' Symphony Orchestra and Wind Band and then branched out into swing with the West Midlands Police Dance Orchestra, playing at various Police events. He joined the emerging Steve King Big Band as lead trumpet in the 1980s, holding this seat for 10 years before a spell with Worcester Jazz Orchestra. He has also played from row cornet in various brass bands but decided that the more relaxed world of jazz was preferable to the competitive nature of the brass band world! Nick recently retired from financial consultancy and is available to answer any questions regarding the maximum amount you can volunteer to pay for entry to MBB concerts.
