Andy Holman Trumpet / Flugel Horn

Andy joined MBB in September 2018 having moved to Malvern after 12 years of brass instrumental teaching in Bahrain. Big Bands have always been part of his life, starting with the Hampshire-based Ron Young Dance Orchestra that he played in as a teenager. Studying at the Royal Northern College of Music and playing with the well-renowned Big Band gave him the opportunity to perform with many famous names in the jazz world. Andy enjoys all genres of music, playing trumpet, cornet, flugel horn and piccolo trumpet, but especially MBB, where he is the shortest member of the trumpet section!
